Overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge, on a sunny Friday in April, Kurt and Ashleigh took their time to exchange vows in the presence of family and friends. The couple who met in
Sydney had dated for the last five years and have twins.
The ceremony began in church. The bridesmaids arrived one by one wearing green silk dresses while the groomsmen donning blue suits and black bowties behind sparkling white shirts similar to the bridegroom patiently waited at the front. The bride was dressed in an asymmetrical white overflowing dress with a bird cage styled veil.
The hall reverberated when Kurt said I do with an echo of joy and excitement in his voice while he looked directly into the eyes of Ashleigh smiling. In saying I do, Ashleigh was confident, holding the man of his dreams.
The highlight of the day was the reception which took place at Italian Village, an Italian eatery known for its great Italian dishes. The set up was really modern and beautiful with a theme of white.
Kurt attested his love for Ashleigh during the toast;
“From the moment I met you, I was blown away with your perfect smile and those almond shaped eyes. … Love just became so easy with you and with every day at sushi train, our connection grew stronger and we soon found ourselves on a trip of a lifetime.”
There was song and dance as the celebration went late into the night.
