Q: How Far in Advance Should I Book Our Wedding Photography and Videography Services?

A: We’d hate to hear that someone wanted to employ our friendly team, only to find out that we aren’t available, or that we are already booked. To avoid your disappointment, we always encourage our clients to book in advance, so that we can take care of the intricate details and ensure that your wedding day is documented without you having to stress or worry.

Q: How Many Images Will We Receive from Your Team?

A: Although the final number might vary from wedding to wedding, a good estimate would be over 800 images when hiring us for 10 hours, or more than 1000 if you take us on for 14 hours. An easier way to calculate what you can expect is by multiplying 60-80 images per hour of our services. Factors might affect this, such as the number of guests, locations and time for portraits, but the above is a fairly simple rule of thumb.

Q: Will You Help Us to Feel Comfortable if We Are Shy?

A: Of course! This is what we do professionally and have done for years. We know how to help you to feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease – and before you know it, you’ll be smiling for the camera without a single concern.

Q: Which Parts of Australia Do You Cater To?

A: Our team are based in Sydney and Melbourne, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t look after your needs wherever you might be in Australia. There’s a small fee to consider for our travel, but we’ve looked after clients throughout the entire country.

Q: Are Printed Albums Included in Our Packages?

A: In several of them, certainly. In fact, if you choose a package that offers a printed album, you’ll be pleased to learn that we offer a stunning leather-bound finished product that you’ll cherish for years to come.

Q: What Is Our Photography/ Videography Style?

A: Influenced by a unique combination of fine art portraiture and elegant documentary wedding photography, you’ll notice the artistic approach that we take from the offset. Natural light is our best friend and when it comes to capturing the ambience and atmosphere of an event, our skills and expertise can help to ensure the highest quality results every time. It’s this approach using a natural, candid style to our photography that has allowed us to take some of the most iconic imagery imaginable – and you’ll undoubtedly recognise the real, raw emotion in every shot that we take.

Q: How Many Hours of Photography Coverage Do We Need?

A: Generally speaking, the majority of soon to be married couples will want their entire day to be captured, which means from the beginning to the very end. With that in mind, we can tailor our services to suit your specific needs, but we always recommend a minimum of 8-10 hours to ensure that we can capture all highlights and notable events.

Q: How Many Photographers/ Videographers Do We Need?

A: This will depend on the size of your wedding, as well as any different locations being used for getting ready. If you and your partner are preparing in different locations (as is often the case), more than one expert behind a lens can certainly help to simultaneously document everything that’s going on, but we’ll be happy to discuss these options with you in detail when you get in touch.

Q: Have You Covered My Wedding Venue Before?

A: Over the years we’ve proudly covered an incredible range of wedding venues; from the quaintest, to the most extravagant. If we haven’t been to yours before however, we’ll always scout out the location ahead of time to ensure that we are appropriately prepared.

Q: What Information Do You Need From Us, Pre-Wedding Day?

A: About two months before your big day, you’ll receive a questionnaire from us with a selection of simple enquiries to allow us to maximise your results. We’ll need to know the basics, including a timeline of events such as the ceremony and reception, your addresses for the pre-wedding preparation, and if you have any significant moments planned that you’d like us to capture.

Q: Do You Edit Our Images?

A: We always prioritise a natural finish and there are certainly times where a particular image or selection of photos can benefit from a stylish edit to really emanate a particular ambience. We also go over each image to colour correct the finished product, as well as add enhancements and retouches to ensure that what you are presented with is as flawless and captivating as possible.

Q: How Long Should We Expect to Wait Until We Receive Our Images

A: We pride ourselves on presenting our clientele with the highest quality images and videos imaginable. That’s why we set an estimated turnaround time of 4 to 6 weeks for photographs, or 8 to 10 weeks if you have videos to process.

Q: How Long Will a Wedding Video Run For?

A: In general, you’ll get to enjoy a selection of highlight clips in the video that can run for between 5 and 9 minutes, with a long video length amounting to roughly 120 minutes (or two hours).

Q: Do We Offer Custom Packages?

A: Certainly! In fact, this is something that prioritises. We can modify specific features to suit your needs, or add and remove particular activities that we provide to meet your requirements.

Q: Do We Request a Meal During Your Reception?

A: As your dedicated photographers and videographers, it will be a very long day for us and just like everyone else present – we’ll need a meal to sustain ourselves. We politely request a meal during the reception to re-energise ourselves and we’re sure you’ll appreciate our renewed efforts once we’re back behind the lens.

Q: Will You Pounce on Us with Hidden Charges and Expenses?

A: No, never – not even a little bit. Over the years, we’ve developed a reputation based on reliability, world-class results and a willingness to help like no one else. Part of offering this level of service means being upfront and transparent, so with Fame Park you’ll never need to worry.

Q: Do You Accept Credit Card Payments?

A: We certainly do, as well as wire/ bank transfer. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Amex, but if you’re in doubt, our team can always offer additional advice on how best to pay.

Q: Who Owns the Copyright?

A: As with all forms of creative media, those that take the photographs are assigned the copyright of the image. In our case, copyright is given to Fame Park Studios, with you as the married couple being permitted personal-use rights. This means that you can share images on social media, print them for your own personal use and share them with loved ones, but you won’t be permitted to sell any of the images on for profit, or give them to other wedding vendors where their commercial use may be present (as this will be a breach of our copyright).

FAQs – ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

Q: When should we have our engagement session?

A: We normally suggest our couples have their engagement photos half a year in advance. The latest would-be four weeks prior to the wedding date, due to the time necessary to edit and deliver the images.

Q: Can we schedule our engagement session for a weekend?

A: We only accept the booking for engagement photoshoot session during the weekdays. An advantage of weekday sessions is that locations are typically less crowded. However, please contact us if you have any specific requirements.

Q: When can we expect to see our photos from our engagement session?

A: Engagement sessions are normally delivered within 1-2 weeks after the session.

Q: Could we book an engagement photo session separately or have to book with a wedding package?
