Tucked away down Yewers Lane in the heart of Footscray and just fifteen minutes from the CBD, The Line is definitely a hidden surprise to host weddings! The Line warehouse has a minimalist, industrial feel about it that provides you and your loved ones with a fantastic blank canvas to create your very own unique wedding event.

With a team of highly talented wedding event visionaries on standby to push the creative boundaries, brides will be absolutely thrilled at the wedding day possibilities. A unique space offering high ceilings, exposed brick, and polished concrete floors, The Line delivers endless opportunities to create the super stylish wedding party of your dreams that gets people talking for all the right reasons. 

Four Unique Wedding Spaces

The Line has four unique wedding spaces that flow effortlessly together, and it all starts with the Ceremony.

The Ceremony and Lounge Room are ever-changing spaces that can be designed however you need them. From here, you go through to the Main Room, with its peaked ceiling and exposed metal beams that are ideal for ceiling hanging and a central hub connecting indoors and outdoors. With a capacity of up to 200 people, the space can be transformed for the most spectacular of weddings. 

Hiring The Line

Weddings should be all about shared memories, and because The Line is so distinct from many of the traditional wedding venues, they like to do things a little different for your special day. 

It all starts with hiring The Line. There are three different hiring options on offer, and these cover all styles of weddings, from sole use to full venue catering. 

Option 1

Full venue wedding catering is available seven days a week. However, different rates apply for the weekend compared to weekdays.

Option 2

Shared Catering (external food or beverage and venue food or drink) is again available seven days a week for your wedding, with different rates for the weekend compared to weekdays.

Option 3

Venue Only (Full external food and beverages) is available seven days a week, with different rates for the weekend.

Making the Right Decision

To assist you and to ensure you make the right decision, The Line Events Manager will help you decide which venue hire you require based on your particular wedding requirements. 

The venue charge for your wedding is based on your specific requirements for the day. All full-day pricing includes a same-day bump in and out – so if you or your suppliers require more time for the in and out bump, an additional charge will apply for further access.

The hourly charges are based on the specific hours you require for your wedding. The bump in and out time needs to be allocated within the time frame.

Turning a Blank Canvas Into Wedding Memories

Once you have chosen your wedding dress or party gown along with the bridesmaid dresses, it is time to turn your attention to how you can turn the blank canvas The Line offers into a spectacular room full of life and excitement that your wedding guests will talk about long after your wedding day has ended.

If you're using furniture available by The Line, a unique floor plan will be created once your wedding booking is confirmed. The venue team will place the furniture on the day, ready for you to complete any final finishes, touches and wedding decorations.

Amongst the facilities and furniture The Line can offer;

Creating the Perfect Wedding Menu

Creating the perfect mix of food and beverages is essential to ensure your special day is remembered for all the right reasons. Although The Line stick to basics with their in-house wedding catering options, offering a selection of high-quality, locally sourced roaming and shared plate menu choices from local suppliers who know the space well. The Line's suppliers can cater for most dietary requirements within all menus if a minimum of seven days' notice has been received. Weddings here truly are a glorious affair of celebration, dresses and heels, good food and many laughs!

Time For a Drink

When it comes to selecting the right beverages for your special wedding day, The Line offers an extensive range of drink packages that cater to all tastes and budgets. From entry-level wines to the premium range from some of Australia's most prestigious wine regions – all packages include a selection of four tap beers, soft drinks and apple cider.
